Physiology Series

A guest lecture under the “Physiology Series” was organized on 19 November 2025 for Allied Health Sciences students of the Department of Physiology. The session aimed to strengthen students’ understanding of clinically relevant physiology and to integrate basic physiological knowledge with its practical application in health care. The resource person Mr. Devapriyan, he is systematically reviewed key physiological regions, highlighted common physiological variations, and linked these concepts to routine clinical procedures and imaging. The lecture was followed by an interactive question–answer session in which students discussed case-based scenarios and clarified conceptual doubts. 39 students and faculty members attended the session. The department proposes to continue this Physiology Series as a regular academic activity to support vertical and horizontal integration within the curriculum.
