Board of Studies Meeting
The first Board of Study (BoS) meeting for the B.Sc CS, AI&DS, BCA, and MCA programs took place on 14th October 2024 at the DMI Conference Hall. The meeting brought together faculty members and subject expert members Dr. P. Ranjana and Dr. Balika J. Chelliah. Dr. Sivagaminathan Ganesan, BoS Chairman for the program, introduced the internal and external members. The Chairman provided an overview of the curriculum, syllabus, and regulations for 2024. The proposed changes will be implemented in the upcoming academic year to ensure that the B.Sc CS, AI&DS, BCA, and MCA programs at SJU continue to deliver high-quality education in the field of computer applications.
The first BOS meeting for the B.Com General, Financial and Accounting, Corporate, BBA, M.Com, and MBA programs was held on 17th October 2024 at the DMI Conference Hall. Dr. Daniel Santhosh Raj, the BoS Chairman for the program, introduced the internal and external members, Dr. O.S. Vedavalli, Assistant Professor in the Department of Corporate Secretaryship at Pachaiyapp’s College, and Dr. Solomon Thangadurai, Assistant Professor in the Department of Commerce at SRM Institute of Science and Technology. The Chairman of the BoS provided an overview of the entire curriculum, syllabus, and regulations for 2024. The proposed changes will be implemented in the upcoming academic year, ensuring that the programs at SJU remain competitive and industry-relevant.
The inaugural BoS meeting for the Department of Advanced Zoology and Biotechnology was held on 22nd October 2024 at the DMI Conference Hall. Dr. K. Auxzilia Preethi, the Chairman of the BoS, provided an overview of the curriculum, syllabus, and regulations for 2024.Dr. Durairaj Sekar, Professor at the RNA Biology Lab, Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences, and Dr. Rajasekar, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Biotechnology at Thiruvalluvar University, served as expert BoS members. They offered valuable suggestions and insights for the program.The proposed changes will be implemented in the upcoming academic year, ensuring that the Advanced Zoology and Biotechnology program at SJU continues to lead in offering high-quality education and research opportunities in the life sciences.
