International Microorganism Day

The Department of Advanced Zoology and Biotechnology marked International Microorganism Day on September 17, 2026, with a dynamic activity designed to raise awareness about the vital roles microorganisms play in our world. As part of the celebration, students participated in a lively scientific debate on “Beneficial vs. Harmful Microorganisms,” exploring the impact of microorganisms on human health, agriculture, industry, and the environment.
